Terms of Use
Outwin is free to use and asks nothing of you in return — no account, no payment. These plain-language terms cover the basics.
Last updated: 22 June 2026
1. Acceptance
By using Outwin (the "Service") at outw.in, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. The Service
Outwin is a browser-based whiteboard for sketching ideas, diagrams, and architecture, and for exporting them in an AI-readable format. It runs entirely in your browser and stores your work locally on your device.
3. Your content
Anything you create with Outwin is yours. Because your boards are stored only in your own browser and are never uploaded to us, we claim no ownership of, and have no access to, your content. You are responsible for backing up anything important by exporting it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Outwin to do anything unlawful, or to attempt to disrupt, attack, or reverse-engineer the Service in ways that harm others. That's about it.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that Outwin will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that locally stored data will never be lost (for example, if you clear your browser data). Always export work you can't afford to lose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Outwin and its makers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the Service.
7. Third-party services
Outwin loads fonts and libraries from public CDNs, and the optional feedback form is handled by a third party. Your use of those is also subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest version, and continued use of the Service means you accept the current terms.
